Captain Steve has been fishing Lake Erie since he was 15 years old. He has been running a full time fishing charter business on Lake Erie for over 20 years. This gives him a lot of Lake Erie fishing experience. Captain Steve is licensed by the State of Ohio, and is also Coast Guard licensed, and a member of the Lake Erie Charter Boat Association. Our business is fully insured.
Captain Steve fishes from the time the ice melts off of Lake Erie in early spring until hunting season in November. He focuses on walleye in the Western Basin from April through July, and during August he can be found walleye and steelhead fishing in the Central Basin. During Septmeber and October, Captain Steve again returns to the Western Basin for smallmouth bass and perch.

If you stop and add up the expenses of owning your own boat such as dock fees, insurance, fuel, electronic equipment, (such as VHF radios, fish finders, G.P.S. units), ramping fees, (if you tow your boat), storage, and routine maintenance, you will find you have a great deal of not only money, but also time involved in your investment.
