July smallmouth bass fishing is a good time to use two jigs while casting and drifting, it is possible to catch walleye and smallmouth on the same drift at this time. September, October smallmouth bass fishing is mainly live bait fishing, with big minnows and soft shell crabs. The fall bass fishing is a good time to see five pound plus smallmouth bass.

Trophy Walleye and steelhead move to the Central Basin for the cooler, deeper water at this time of the summer fishing season. So Island Fever Fishing Charters follow these trophies for our August trips. Main tactics consist of trolling and deep water crank baits and spoons on dipsy divers.

Walleye in the Western Basin is best at this time for limit catches. Main tatics are worm harnesses, while drifting and casting. Also trolling with spoons and crank bait is another options when the winds are calm and there is no drift.
